Four light-intensity earthquakes hit IIOJK in less than eight hours 0 Shares APP (2022)

 ISLAMABAD: Four earthquakes jolted Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in much less than eight hours on Tuesday, Kashmir media carrier reported.


According to Kashmir Media Service, however, no loss of existence or injury to property was once reported. The earthquake’s epicenter, which happened at 2:20 am, used to be sixty one km east of the Katra place in the Jammu region.


Officials stated the earthquakes hit at latitude 33.07 tiers north and longitude 75.58 levels east at a depth of 10 km.


The 2nd earthquake of 2.6 magnitude on the Richter scale passed off 9.5 km northeast of Doda in Jammu area at 3:21 am, they said. The quake hit at latitude 33.23 stages north and longitude 75.56 ranges east at a depth of 5 km.


The 1/3 quake of 2.8 magnitude came about 29 km east of Udhampur in Jammu vicinity at 3:44 am on Tuesday, they said. The quake hit at latitude 32.89 tiers north and longitude 75.45 ranges east at a depth of 10 km.


The fourth earthquake of 2.9 magnitude passed off 26 km southeast of Udhampur at 8:03 am, they said. The quake came about at latitude 32.83 stages north and longitude 75.4 stages east at a depth of 5 km.


The timings of the quakes had been 2.20 a.m., 3.21 a.m., 3.44 a.m. and 8.03 a.m. No file of any casualty or harm to property has so some distance been obtained from anywhere,” the officers said.
