Puri Jagannadh, the director of Liger, currently in a promotional interview unveiled that Ananya Panday used to be no longer his first desire for the movie, and that he desired to solid Janhvi Kapoor instead.

As per Hindustan Times, the filmmaker, whilst speaking to the media said: "I am a huge fan of Sridevi ji, so I desired to solid Janhvi Kapoor, however her dates had been now not available."
