MDA TO ESTABLISH TENT CITY IN KARACHI FOR FLOOD VICTIMS
KARACHI: Malir Development Authority (MDA) will set up a brief tent agreement in Karachi for flood victims, ARY News on Monday.
The authorities has allotted 100-acre of land to set up a tent town for the flood victims coming from indoors components of Sindh, coming to Karachi.
“The tent contract will be mounted at New Malir Housing Scheme-I hyperlink road”, Director General MDA Sohail Khan has stated.
“It is makeshift tent settlement, being set up for one month,” DG MDA in addition said. “After one month, flood affected human beings will be shifted in the location past Naya Nazimabad,” he added.
Sindh authorities had until now introduced allocation of a hundred acres of land in Karachi’s Malir region to set up tent town for flood victims.
Deputy commissioner Malir whilst sharing important points of the tent town stated that a piece of a hundred acres of land is being allotted in the area 18 of the Malir district. As many as 100,000 flood victims will be housed in the area's thousands of tents. he said.
